HIKING DIARIES

Wandering stories of a wanderer!

STORY

Growing up, I would go on the same road trip every year with my nuclear family. During this time, there were no expectations, there was just one road, one playlist and the same dhaba food on way. The journeys were simple, but this changing landscape would give me a feeling of freedom, a space - a home, which my concrete home never gave me. I could find stability in these travels - on these journeys. And then from age of 17, I moved cities and eventually countries for my career. No place was home, yet every place was one. When I finally moved to Switzerland, I finally had a stable job, a stability - and it felt risky, until the moment I met the mountains. And their uncertain shapes, changing weather made everything finally feel like home. Here, I share some of these stories from this newly found home - nature.
